– Abbettor’s Amber Ale 5.3%
Style: American Amber Ale
Malts Maris Otter, Cara Munich, Vienna, Flaked Oats, Roasted Barley
Hops: Topaz, Mosaic
The Munich and Vienna malts give this beer its body, flaked oats a rich mouth feel and the roasted barley it’s deep colour. Topaz and Mosaic hops give subtle tropical fruit notes in the background.
– Achtzig Deutsche Mark Bitte 5.2%
Style: Scottish 80/-
Malts: Munich and Vienna
Hops: This dark malty beer is made in a Scottish style but German malts. Low carbonation and very little hop flavours mean this is the antithesis of modern craft ale.
– La Biere Sournoise 7.3%
Style Biere de Garde/Saison
Malts: Pilsner, Vienna, CaraMunich, Rye
Hops: Columbus, Spalt Similar in style to a Belgian Saison beer, this strong sweet beer has a delicous fruity flavour provided by the Belgian Belle Saison yeast. The malted rye gives the beer a spicy edge.
– Sheffield Nevada 5.6%
Style American Pale Ale
Malts: Maris Otter, Pilsner, Crystal
Hops: Cascade, Citra This pale ale uses lots of hops throughout the boil and is dry hopped with citra hops for a week after fermentation. The result is a beer that bursts with fresh citrus flavours. This beer is a tribute to the classic Sierra Nevada pale ale and is one of our most popular beers.
– Winter Solstice IPA 5.6%
Style India Pale Ale
Malts: Pilsner, Maris Otter, Vienna, Crystal Rye
Hops: Topaz, Columbus, Mandarina Baveria This is a crisp, dry full flavoured IPA. The rye malt gives a full flavoured mouth feel and the Mandarina Baveria hops provide a zesty grapefruit finish.
– Edelreiss 5.7
Style: German Weissbier
Malts: Pilsner, Wheat, Rye
Hops: Centennial, Mandarina Baveria
Rye malts alongside the wheat and barley add depth and complexity to this darker style of dry, crisp, wheat beer. The Munich yeast adds strong bubblegum and banana flavours and the hops add a citrus undertone.
