I have not added any new pubs for a while now and need to get back to discovering more new ones in Sheffield, they are out there, I know it.
My 200th pub to be visited and entered onto my website is the nice pub in Dore called The Devonshire Arms, I recently visited this pub as part of my Pub Walk No 11 (Dore & Totley), I did try to visit this pub last year but at the time I visited it wasn’t open.
You will find this pub has plenty of seats inside and also has a beer garden at the back of the pub and some wooden table at the front of the pub, I am not sure if they do food, I couldn’t see any food menus.
They serve 5 ales which include some local ales from Abbeydale and Bradfield brewery, 1 pump had a cider on.
This is a easy pub to get to as the 81/82 bus goes through Dore village and while you here you might as well visit Hare & Hounds which is across the road.
