This pub is right next to the train station on Platform 1, and what a pub this is.
When you walk in you have a few seats to the right and the toilets are to the left, as you walk into another seating area the bar is down the side, you may notice a board with ales on at the side of the bar as you walk in.
11 ales are served here, their brewery The Tapped Brew have some of their ales, with the odd Thornbridge thrown in and some very good guest ales, they also have a keg range which can be interesting.
This is a very busy pub but you dont have long to wait to be served.
Once you have been served to the end of the bar there is another 2 small rooms of seats and then you enter into the brewery part where sometimes you can watch them brewing, this room is extremely nice and plenty of seats, this can also be used as a function room.
I have done a pub crawl from this pub in a round city centre walk and comes back to this pub for those travelling to Sheffield for the day. This can be found on this page here.
