This pub is My No 5 in Pub of the Year 2016
The pub is in the heart of Kelham Island area and is near to the Museum.
The bar area is quite small and a bit crowded but once you have your beer they have a choice of a room where the bar is, then a side room which a open fire, and also a big beer garden with enough seats in, and some interesting items there and some nice art work on the walls. There is also another area which is for private functions in the beer garden, ts like a large shed and also when they hold beer festivals this is used. There is also a upstairs room as well, I think this is for private functions.
There is no music so you can have a nice friendly chat, they also serve food at certain times, looks good and a food board is in the side room before you go outside.
10 ales behind the bar, Kelham Island Brewery has a few of their ales ales. The guest ales are also interesting and ones you dont see often.
